“Wister and More!” presents the American Virtuosi

  Celebrate Mother's Day with stories, pictures, and colors in music! The program will include Saint-Saens's The Swan, Rimsky-Korsakov's The Bumble Bee, Ibert's The Donkey, and selections from Schumann's Scenes from Childhood, along with selections by Piazzolla, Janacek, and Mussorgsky.* Hailed by the international press as “American Virtuosi,” the Borowsky family has been praised world-wide for their outstanding musicianship, recently performing in Germany, Poland, Malta, Iceland, Lithuania, and Cuba.  Audiences have have delighted in the family’s musicality, original contemporary works and knack for nuanced arrangement and sensitive interpretation of the masterworks of legendary composers. Programs are marked by a combination of solo and chamber music, highlighting each family member’s personality and life experiences, and taking listeners and participants on an interactive, imaginative journey.
