Auditorium Ratskeller Directors' Room Library FAQ's
Ratskeller is a German word meaning a tavern below street level specializing in serving beer. In Germany, a Ratskeller is a restaurant or tavern in the basement of a city hall.
The German Society's Ratskeller is a lower-level, authentic, German
old-world-style bar and dining room. It
offers an ambience perfect for wine and beer tastings or smaller
gatherings. The room also contains a large-screen television with
24-hour German satellite TV, and a newly-refurbished industrial
kitchen.

The Ratskeller is 30' x 43' and seats 50-100
people (60 at small tables and up to 100 using large tables and folding
chairs). It also has a 26' wet bar with 8 stools and
refrigeration units. The room has a direct entrance from the
parking lot.
