Sat. Sep. 29, 2018 - 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Bring your four-legged friends and join us for an afternoon of canine fun! On Saturday, September 29 from 12pm-6pm, the German Society will play host to DOGADELPHIA, a dog-friendly block party and street fair. Spanning into 7th Street and onto the lawn of the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site, this paw-some festival will highlight several local dog vendors and canine-related businesses in the area. On the Poe House lawn, you can get to know some of Philadelphia’s working dogs, with presentations from the National Park Service’s B.A.R.K. Rangers and other working dog groups in the Philadelphia area! If you haven’t found your perfect pup yet, don’t worry! Saved Me Pet Rescue will be there with several eligible dogs for adoption. And for our human guests, there will be food vendors on site and beer provided by Victory Brewing Company. This event is free and open to the public. Mark your calendars now for a day full of furry fun!
All of our events are open to the public.
We welcome members and non-members alike.
