KA EXTRA: The Future of Work with Metin Hakverdi

Thu. Feb. 28, 2019 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
We are proud and happy to welcome Metin Hakverdi to the German Society for a talk within the KA Extra Series on Thursday, February 28th at 6:00 PM in the Library. Mr. Hakverdi is member of the German Bundestag and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Mr. Hakverdi’s talk will be focused around The Future of Work. Work has evolved immensely since the industrial revolution, and continues to evolve even more rapidly with every new technological development. This growth raises all kinds of new questions and challenges for society: Who will work in the future, and for how long? Which professions will be in demand? How will global powers prepare their societies and workforces for these inevitable changes? And what implications will there be for businesses?
The evening will begin with hors d’eourves and refreshments at 6:00 PM, followed by Mr. Hakverdi’s presentation at 6:30 PM. After the presentation, stay tuned for a Q&A session. Please RSVP to info@germansociety.org or call 215-627-2332 to let us know if you will attend.
This presentation was made possible by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and is co-sponsored by the German-American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia.
