Konversationsabend: Christmas Party

We will meet for the last time in 2019 on Wednesday, December 11 at 6pm in the Ratskeller at the German Society.
Around this time of the year, we are all preparing for Christmas cherishing childhood memories and family traditions. The KA has established its own tradition of celebrating by dedicating this evening to music and poetry. You are all invited to bring one of your favorite poems, or tell a short story. If it is a poem, copies would be nice.
Your poem or story does not have to relate directly to Christmas, just something you really like. You might need it for our Santa Pollyanna for which you are invited to bring a mini-present (really mini), it may be funny or serious. It would go into a St. Claus bag and everybody would pick one (in exchange for at least one good line of a poem, limerick, quotation, etc.). And, of course, if you don’t have time to look for a poem or music – come anyway and enjoy the company.
As always - all are invited, all are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
