Transcription Tuesdays

The Horner Memorial Library hosts a transcription group every Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 pm Eastern Time via Zoom.  We work in small groups on a variety of documents from the Society’s Archive, to improve our ability to decipher the old “Kurrent” handwriting that even most native Germans cannot read.  You do not have to be fluent in German to participate, but a good reading knowledge is necessary.
