After her 2018 Boston Symphony Hall debut with the BSO Pops Orchestra, Xiaopei Xu quickly establishes her career as a concert pianist. She holds a Bachelors degree from New England Conservatory and a Masters degree from Yale University School of Music, and is currently a Doctoral of Musical Arts candidate at Boston University.
Ms. Xu's program will include Ludwig van Beethoven's Sonata No. 2 in A major, Op. 2 No. 2; Schubert's Gretchen am Spinnrade; Der Mueller und der Bach; and Erlkoenig; Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13; and Chopin's Ballade No. 4 in F Minor, Op.52; Nocturne in D flat major; Etude in G sharp major; and Waltz in A flat major.
