Frankfurt in May

Sat. May. 19, 2018 - 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Frankfurt – the financial centre, the European city, the traffic hub, the smallest metropolis in the world. When you think of the city on the Main, you think of the airport, the Paulskirche and Goethe, the Stock Exchange, the Book Fair and the skyline. No doubt about it: Frankfurt brings opposites together in the most fruitful way.
Join us  on Saturday, May 19th at 3:00pm as we celebrate Philadelphia’s newest Sister City! The $10.00 admission price covers tastings of regional foods and beverages, including the famous Frankfurter Grüne Soße! Local music will fill the air, and guests can sample wine from the region’s vineyards. Additional meals and beverages will also be available for purchase.
The festivities will be held on the lovely Leidy Terrace adjacent to the German Society’s building at 611 Spring Garden Street. In the event of inclement weather, we will celebrate in the Albert and Hete Barthelmes Auditorium.
We are always looking for volunteers for our events. If you’re interested in volunteering for Frankfurt in May, please contact the office.
Tickets can be purchased on our webpage or over the phone at 215-627-2332. We look forward to seeing you there!
